My boss and I don't work GREAT together, but I think we're both trying (or at least I am!) for the sake of our jobs and succeeding. We are very cordial to each other in attempt to have a good work environment.

However, we disagree on quite a few things politically as well as on general topics outside of work. Recently it seems she's been trying to pick arguments about those other things since we "can't" (or just don't) argue about work.

How can I get her to stop picking these ridiculous fights??? I try to not engage in the conversations, but it's like she says things just to push my buttons! She's my supervisor and she should be setting a better example! I'm almost embarrassed FOR her! Help my work environment!
