I have a gym membership and I really want to stop feeling like I'm throwing the money away every month!
The first step is forcing myself to go after working all day, and the second is figuring out what to do once I get there! (I prefer taking classes because I can't "cheat" - haha) Anyone else gym-bound?? Let's motivate each other! |

I have to work out at home right now, and not doing so well! One thing that might help is meeting a friend, that way you feel guilty if you don't show up. I need ways to motivate me to do my home work out since a gym is out of our budget right now. Ideas?

Working out at home is the worst for me....I always come up with something (ANYTHING!) else to do!
Again, videos or something is best for me to....do you have any at home equiptment? I dont, but I think if I did I could probably plant myself in front of the TV on an eliptical or something, but like I said, I don't have one so I'm out of luck there ![]() What do you do from home for working out? |

That's my big problem specialk! I don't GO. When it's nice out I ride my bike a lot - sometimes even TO the gym, but it's been rainy and yucky.
Someone in my office just bought these Zoomba videos (they're like dance, aerobics, some weights) and we're trying to do them a couple times a week on lunch in a conference room....it does help having someone else pushing you...... |

Weeks 3 & 4 I ate a few too many nuts and yoghurt - which just goes to show that even eating the right things in the wrong quantities aren't good for you. That and not doing as much yoga and walking during those 2 weeks - hence why I stepped up the rate, the distance and the frequency after that.
