Will it still be there?
I get that letter from social security every year, it seems I won't get much since I have been a stay at home mom for a lot of years. My husband's letter is a little better. My question is, do you think it will even be there by the time we retire?

I don't know....it's scary....I feel so defeated already because I've been paying into it for nine years (and anticipate I'll probably have to work for another forty) and I have very little hope that it'll still be around by the time I'm eligible!
It's so disheartening....
