I was just chatting with a friend who lives in another state. She is having issues becuase they schedule softball games for her daugher on Sunday's. She had an issue with Wednesday night practices. Her daughter dropped out of youth group to go to practices, but now they are having games on Sunday's too. My friend feels like she made a mistake to give in on the Wednesday stuff because now her daughter does not want to miss the Sunday games. Does anyone else have to deal with this issue?

Religious or not, I just think it's irresponsible to make Sunday your "game" day - I mean, families should have one day that they can be together, catch up on homework, see a movie as a family, or go to church! Athletics end up taking up so much time between after school practices and games, it would be nice to see one day left for the family
Keep dreaming, huh?
