One thing I'd suggest you do, is get your children cameras, this way they can take pictures of their lives whenever they want. My father actually did this with me, I'd go around town snapping pictures and I loved every minute of doing it. I imagine if you had any kids, it'd be an interesting thing to get your children. A cheap digital camera would get the job done and they'll have a ton of fun, I can tell you that for sure.
