My son started working at a movie theater so we are back to going to movies. Our town is very small so our theater only has one movie at a time and it only plays four times. I would love to hear which movies you guys liked and which ones you didn't like, so I know which ones are worth seeing, and which ones are good for kids. The last one we saw was inkheart. It was pretty good, though not for little kids. My dh who is hard of hearing had issues with the accents. He kept asking me questions which drove me nuts!
This weekend will be Mall Cop, which my kids are dying to see. Is it appropriate for kids? |

Oh! Oh! Oh! That one I know! Well, I have read the book. Based on the book, definetly not appropriate. Great book, but not something for my ten-year-old. |

Saw this a couple weeks ago - and from what I recall the book must have been less appropriate than the movie (read the book a LONG time ago) because the movie wasn't too bad (but I wasn't watching it thinking about kids watching it). There weren't any sexual scenes that I can recall - maybe a kiss or two - and I think the language wasn't crazy bad. I just don't think the subject matter would be very interesting for most 9 or 10 year olds! ![]() The movie was okay, but I liked the book better - that much I DO remember

Out on DVD now is a Movie called Fireproof. My sister told me about it. It is a Christian film about keeping your marriage strong. It is a great date movie with your spouse. My sister said her whole family watched it, (kids 8-17) and they all liked it.
