Default Love languages?

How do you handle it if you and your spouse have different ways of showing love? My dh likes words and touch. I would prefer he did the dishes or brought me chocolate. I do things for him, but he would prefer my physical stuff or lots of words, which I am not good at. Anyone else have issues like these?

My dating person (bf sounds odd.... ) is a TOTAL cuddler and I'm.....not. But he definitely thinks that's how to show the affection. And he IS being affectionate, so I can't fault him for it.

But I'm with you - I'd like manual labor! haha
