This is something i have been thinking about.... My daughter starred 1st grade lat year, and it seems as if her homework load is matching to my college homework load and almost just as hard(literally)... I find myself having to stop and think when helping her with homework and activites about things i should not have to at this age level, i can only imagine it getting harder and more complicated for her. I have asked the teachers about this, and there answers are to keep class and homework competitive for the 21st century, there is a lot to leran out there with new technology, so they challenge the kids at early ages... I dunno, i guess t's a good theory, i just was not prepared for it.
