Default Ways to improve my child's chances on getting into a good G&T program

Obviously I only want my DD in a g&t program if she's qualified...but I know she is (very articulate, reads at a higher level than her grade). How do I make sure that she gets into the g&t program and is not overlooked?

My children are now homeschooled, but when they were in school, the teachers noticed right away. I think that the teachers will notice if she is a good candidate for the gifted programs. :-)

I'm not on to homeschooling but it would be an option. I want to experience them what an ordinary teen/kids they'll be. I even let them be in a kids boot camp for more activity works.
