I'm not sure if this is the right place for this forum, but it's kinda related to choosing schools, so here goes!

My son has an August birthday so he meets the cutoff to start pre-K in the public schools next year and kindergarten the year after. I'm just wondering if it would be better for him to wait a year to start kindergarten. I've heard that boys especially can benefit from that extra year. But he seems pretty bright and I don't want him to be bored with school. Any advice?
